The Barker's Booth

Lilly Rox has been working this corner of the Midway since the first tent went up. She knows which acts are worth the ticket price and which songs are still waiting for a brave voice. When she points, she means it.

"White Rabbit" in Cabaret

"Grace Slick already wrote this thing like a fever dream. Put it in a cabaret spotlight and suddenly it's a confession. I don't know how McCall did that, but here we are."

Songs Waiting for Singers

"There are acts up on that board that have been dressed and ready for months. The Smule door is open. The costume fits. They just need someone brave enough to walk in."

Your Song, Wrong Costume

"If you've got a song sitting in your head that would be absolutely destroyed — in the best way — by the wrong genre, tell the Ringmistress. That's what the Cocoon is for."

Who is Lilly Rox?

She's the reason you walked in.

If this is your first time at the Circus, this is your first stop. Lilly Rox is the Barker — the person who points you toward the right tent, the open calls, and the acts worth your time. She's been inside the costume herself. That's why she has opinions.

Lilly Rox was the first butterfly — the first singer to step into a Wrong Genre Circus arrangement and prove the concept could breathe. She didn't just find her way to the tent; she helped build it. She performs in the ring and calls others toward it. That's what makes her the Barker: she's not selling something she's never tried. She's reporting back from inside the costume.

When the Booth gets new picks, they'll appear above. Lilly updates when something earns the spotlight.
