Wrong Genre Circus
What we do. Why we do it.
Wrong Genre Circus gives familiar songs another musical life—and singers room to discover their own.

Curiosity outranks correctness.
The Wrong Genre Circus takes familiar songs out of their assigned genres to make room for creative risk, vocal play, and unexpected discovery. We give singers permission to get it wrong on purpose—because when “right” stops running the room, something more honest can step into the spotlight.
The discovery is the point; applause is gravy.
The first take belongs here
Go in green. Sing it once. Save what happened. Not because mistakes are mandatory, but because perfection should not be the price of admission.
Listen, join an invitation, or make your own musical choice. Audible uncertainty, recovery, and discovery are part of a singer thinking in real time.
